PROGRAMMING
Here is our tentative schedule of activities thus far along with our venue map. More activities may be included so the schedule is subject to change.
We're really big into humor and not taking ourselves too seriously. We're also pretty laid back and chill most of the time. We like to open our convention that way. We'll get you ready to have fun, Kin-Yoobi Con style.
We have games running throughout the whole convention for attendees to play. Play on one of our many game consoles or bring your own setup to play.
Dress up as a character from a game, anime, or other work of fiction and auction yourself out on a date. Or bid on a date and go out with your favorite fictional character. All proceeds go to charity.
Save up for Kin-Yoobi Con because you never know what you'll find on our Dealers and Artist tables. Anime and game merchandise, fanart, original illustrations and crafts, and more will be available for purchase.
Demonstrate your art skills by drawing a random anime or game character. Draw off against other artists. The audience decides the best illustration and prizes go to winners.
Test your anime and game trivia skills in this game show. Give your fandom answers in the form of a question. The contestant with the most points wins a prize.
Based off of the old school game show, Password, one contestant must help another contestant guess a word from an anime or game using limited descriptions.
The most popular event in any anime convention, of course we feature our own. Dress up as a well known, or a not so well known, character of fiction for prizes and recognition.
It's Wheel of Fortune with an anime twist. Guess the quote from a famous anime and test your fandom knowledge while winning prizes.
Sing to your favorite anime or game tune. We have the PA system. You just provide the song. We can hook our PA system to any device with a 3.5 mm jack. Wanna sing to a song that's not in anime or a game? No problem. As long as it's not explicit, it's all good.
We've offered free food to our attendees from the very beginning and this year is no exception. Hamburgers, Hot dogs, Veggieburgers, and bottled waters are free to every attendee for lunch.
