Here are some ways for you to book a room for Kin-Yoobi Con 2013 at the Hilton Newark/Fremont:

2. Put in your dates.

3. Click on: Check Availability
4. Under the Group/Convention area; put in GZR and  press continue
5. The room types and rates will populate

Call our 1-800-445-8667 and ask for the Game Zone Group Block rate or give them the group code: GZR to receive the rates

Your rates are $79.00 plus tax per day.  Dates available are: 08/08/13 - 08/11/13.

​

Last day to make reservations under this group block is: Wednesday-July 31, 2013.  After this date; group rates and rooms may not be available.​

VIP Policy​

All attendees that book a room at the Hilton Fremont/Newark get VIP access which include, exclusive access to the Day Zero pool party (Friday, Aug. 9th), a complementary breakfast for Sunday morning, and access to exclusive autograph signing sessions with honored guest. VIPs will have a special admission badge indicating VIP satus. When checking in for your hotel room, hotel staff will distribute your ticket for your complimentary breakfast and VIP badge. VIP access is limited to 2 VIP passes per 1 room reservation (for you and a guest). VIPs must be registered Hilton Newark/Fremont guests and registered Kin-Yoobi Con 2013 attendees, artists, or vendors.​

Vendor/Artist Registration

Vendors and Artists, please view our Dealer Table Layout for available spaces.

Note: In the table layout, tables with a V are reserved for Vendors and tables with an A are reserved for Artists.

 

We are currently SOLD OUT OF ARTIST TABLES, however, we may have additional artist tables become available before the convention so please send an email to registration@gzronline.com if you would like to request to be placed on our artist waiting list. New available slots will be offered on a first come first server basis.

Vendor Table Spots are currently still available!

 

Selling hours are 10am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday. Setup hours are 7am-10am on Saturday and Sunday.

​

Table reservations for Vendors in Exhibit Hall 1 are $175 each for the full weekend and includes two full weekend admission badges, one for the vendor and one for a helper (2 free full weekend attendee badges with table purchase). Tables positioned directly in front of the entrance of Exhibit Hall 1 where attendees are likely to see first are available for $190 for the full weekend and also include two full weekend admission badges.

Tables in the Main Hallway are reserved for Vendors​ ​​and prices vary according to position. Please check the Dealer Table Layout for specific pricing. Tables in the Main Hallway can provide better visibility, however Exhibit Hall 1 & 2 will be locked after selling hours while the Main Hallway will not be so Vendors in the Main Hallway will not be able to safely leave their inventory with their table overnight.

​Before registering please first read the Kin-Yoobi Con Vendor/Artist Terms of Agreement and Limit of Liability for complete information. Registered Vendors and Artists must turn in a signed copy of this form on arrival.

To register as a Vendor or Artist, please download the Vendor/Artist Registration Form. Please complete the form for yourself and any Helpers you wish to register. Please email completed forms to registration@gzronline.com. In the email please also include your top three table position picks available on the Dealer Table Layout. We will try our best to give you your preferred spot. If you do not provide a preference we will assign you a spot.

​Once we receive your email we will send you an invoice if you choose to pay by credit/debit card. We provide receipts for all payment transactions, credit or check. If you choose to pay by check please make the check payable to “Game-Zone Recreation.” Please mail your check to address:

Cosplay Contest Registration

Our most popular event. Cosplay (for those unfamilar) is when participants dress in elaborate costumes of characters from anime or video games. These costumes are often times completely hand made and take large amounts of time, effort, and resources to create. This contest honors the very best cosplayers that attend our convention. We reserve big prizes for winners of this event

For all attendees participating, please complete the Cosplay Consent Form and email it to registration@gzronline.com. The more participants who complete the form beforehand, the less setup time that will be needed for the Cosplay Contest the day of.

​

​Swap Meet Registration

The Swap Meet will take place within the Golden Carnival which takes place outside in the Hilton Hotel's parking lot, right beside the convention area. Each Swap Meet space is 10 feet by 5 feet. There are no tables or chairs included however you are free to bring your own. To have a Swap Meet space, you must be a registered attendee of Kin-Yoobi Con 2013. Limit one space per attendee. The Swap Meet hours are 1-5pm on Saturday. The cost is $10. If you would like to register for a Swap Meet space you must first preregister for Kin-Yoobi Con 2013 as an attendee and send an email to registration@gzronline.com explaining what you will be selling. You are not required to hold a seller's permit if you are only making occasional sales, or selling products that are not taxable when sold at retail or selling on behalf of a section 6015 retailer (e.g. Avon, Tupperware, etc.). You are also not required to hold a permit if you are making sales two (2) or fewer times in a 12-month period. You are required to have a Sellers Permit if you are selling (even temporarily) new, collectible or handcrafted items, or used items you have purchased for the purpose of reselling to others. Additional Seller’s Permit information, including the locations where individuals may obtain them, can be found at the California State Board of Equalization web site: http://www.boe.ca.gov/info/reg.htm.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Volunteer Registration

Interested in volunteering for Kin-Yoobi Con? We need your help. Volunteer for ten hours and get a full weekend badge. Send us an email at registration@gzronline.com to request a volunteer registration form to participate as a volunteer.

Press Registration

For consideration for a press registration to Kin-Yoobi Con 2013 please send an email to registration@gzronline.com with a link to your publication and information about your involvement with the press organization you contribute to, including title and/or affiliation. Kin-Yoobi Con staff will evaluate your press proposal and send you confirmation email promptly if approved. We encourage all interested members of the press to apply.

​Panel Registration

Would you like to host a panel at Kin-Yoobi Con? A 1 hour panel will get you and a helper free admission for the day your hosting it. A 2 hour panel, two 1 hour panels, or more will get you and a helper free admission for both days. If you're interested in hosting a panel with us please send us an email to registration@gzronline.com with all the information requested on our Panel Submission Form. Panel space is limited so the sooner you register the better chance you'll be approved to host your panel.

AMV Contest Registration

Before registering please read the Rules of the AMV Contest. To register for the AMV contest please email your Full Name and the download link to your AMV video to registration@gzronline.com. You must be registered as an attendee to participate in the AMV contest.
