Robert Axelrod (SUNDAY ONLY)

Mr. Axelrod is a busy voice over artist. He is the voice of Lord Zedd and Finster on the "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers". The Lord Zedd voice is one of the most recognizable character voices around. He voiced Armadillomon and Wizardmon on "Digimon, Microchip, The Punisher's sidekick, on "Spiderman", Rico on "Robotech", and has voiced countless Anime features including "Akira", "The Big O", "Cowboy Bebop", "Brain Scratch", et al. As Lord Zedd, he starred in both the first Power Rangers feature film and the wildly popular live show that toured the country. He was a regular character on Saban Entertainment's "Wowser" series (as Ratso Catso), "Journey To The Heart of the World" (as Scarface), "Hallo Spencer" (as Elmer), and more. He just finished narrating the mockumentary "Safety First: The Rise of Women and voicing four Anime series, "Gaiking", "Danguard Ace", "Captain Horlock", "The Adventures of Nadja", and "Fist of the North Star".

Driven Otaku

Driven Otaku is a group of Itasha owners whos interests vary from the normal mainstream animes to the more hardcore anime. All while maintaining that deep link to what it really means to be "otaku" We are the true Itasha, doing everything ourselves, earning every add on and evey vinyl on our cars. We start with something simple and make it amazing.

Todd Haberkorn (CANCELLED due to schedule conflicts)

From a lovable alien frog and nerdy kid who sees paranormal activity to heir of the Death Meister Academy and a red headed personification of the country of Italy, Todd has created unique voices for a variety of characters for cartoons and video games. Add to this a healthy production life in front of and behind the camera as well as partaking in theatre arts on stage, and he's had the pleasure of a wonderful career in the entertainment industry thus far.

Haberkorn received his BFA in acting from Southern Methodist University. While he was working in theater, he joined Funimation as a voice actor, with some minor bits in Black Cat and Peach Girl. He also worked at Illumitoon as Giku in Giku Warriors. He landed the lead role as Kimihiro Watanuki in xxxHolic[1] and Yamato Akitsuki in Suzuka. He has worked in Texas and California as an actor, director, producer, and writer.

Shogunate

The Shogunate is a group of artists united by a love of music, video games, pop culture and animation. Untied by the bonds that hold most people back, they strive to give there best in all fronts of entertainment. From their high energy live shows, to the earth shattering sounds of their album. you can tell with out a doubt The Shogunate gives it their all every time.

Valkyrie Kiss

Valkyrie Kiss is a Bay Area-based band who loves to show their audience a rockingly good time. They are quickly gaining attention in the NorCal anime convention scene with their trademark sound: A fusion of melodic pop, hard rock, and metal - as well as catchy lyrics with topics such as passionate love, hope & struggle, "musical erotica," and everything in between. Influenced and inspired by diverse musical and cultural backgrounds, The Stars At Dusk strive to inspire others and bridge cultures with their exciting, high-energy live performances.

akai SKY

Inspired in equal parts by Japanese pop melody as well as heavy alternative American rock, U.S.-based band akai SKY takes a straight-forward approach to modern rock music, marrying Japanese and English lyrics alike. Fusing the best of both worlds, akai SKY crosses the great divide between language and music in America, solidifying their premier status as California's #1 American Jrock band.

Machii Valentine

Origially from Austin, TX, Machii Valentine is a classically trained singer, but draws many of her inspirations from Japanese musical artists such as Utada Hikaru, OLIVIA and Yuki Kajiura.

Machii is also a big fan of anime, starting from a young age! Growing up with classic shows like Sailor Moon, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pokémon fueled her love for anime to a point where it’s still ever growing even today with modern titles like Cowboy Bebop, Eden of the East, and (most recently) Accel World. Soon, with the help of her friends, Machii also began making cosplays of her favorite characters including Black★Rock Shooter, Angel! Stocking, and her namesake Vincent Valentine. Now with her musical roots planted firmly in California she has begun writing/producing her debut EP which is slated to be released later in 2013.

 

 

Christine Marie Cabanos

When it comes to animation and video games, Christine is a fan at heart. Her passion for the culture led her to pursue a voice-acting career in the industry. After several years of training and practice, her breakout role came as Azusa Nakano of K- On!. Christine has since earned roles including Haruka in Oblivion Island, Filia in Skullgirls, the titular character of Squid Girl in Squid Girl, Nepgear in Hyperdimension Neptunia MK2, Keina Sawaya in Atelier Meruru, Minawa Ando in Mahoromatic OVA : Iʼm Home, Sarah in Rozen Maiden Overture, Michi Kondo in Lagrange: The Flower of Rin-ne, Madoka Kaname from Puella Magi Madoka Magica, and Shiemi Moriyama in Blue Exorcist.

​Sonny Strait

Most recognized as the voice of Krillin on the wildly popular, animated TV show Dragonball Z and as an illustrator for, arguably, the most famous, independently published comic book series Elfquest. Sonny Strait has over 20 years of experience in the arts.

As a voice actor, Sonny is considered to be one of the most recognized voice actors in the business. Besides Dragonball Z’s Krillin he has worked on many popular animated characters including Maes Hughes from Full Metal Alchemist, Usopp from One Piece and Cartoon Network’s laid back, robot host Toonami Tom. He has also worked as a writer and director on several TV series including Dragonball Z, Case Closed and Lupin the Third.

DJ Ear

In the past 5 years he's had the privilege of DJing at several conventions, the Orange County Fair, House of Blues Anaheim, a handful of small events, and over the radio – hosting shows on both KSBR FM-88.5 & OCRockRadio.com.  With an appreciation for a wide-range of music he enjoy blending elements from various genres into an uplifting, upbeat atmosphere.

AW

AVV is a hobbyist DJ who specializes in playing trance and progressive house music.

 

AVV became interested in trance when he discovered a trance CD in his brother's room.

Since then, he has branched out to exploring other electronic subgenres including techno and house.

His passion for electronic music culminated in sharing his musical interests through DJing.

For AVV's sets, he generally mixes classic trance anthems with mainstream house hits.

CJ STORM

CJ Storm hails from the heart of Silicon Valley. He has an extensive background in music that is recognized Internationally as well as the Entertainment Industry.



A well round composer and musician who has known his way around numerous musical instruments. Though he mainly plays acoustic guitar, he also plays keys, strings, percussion and various woodwinds and brass instruments. Two of the instruments that CJ brags about are his Hammond Organ and Accordion. 

 

With a background in computers, the Electronica art form has been emerging within the creative music process.  Producing tracks with local artists and musicians, CJ steps out from behind the microphone and guitars to DJ decks to rock the crowd with the many style of electronic music.

Alien Monster

Alien Monster is a culmination of different styles and influences, further expanding the genre of Indie Rock.  Writing and composing original music influenced by original short stories, movies, TV, books and even cartoons.

 

The goal of total planet domination is slowly taking shape.
