LauraC is a veteran cosplayer that has has competed in several cosplay competitions and masquerades since 2006. She has judged several cosplay contests at a variety of conventions In 2007, she was featured in Appleseed ExMachina's movie DVD special feature, "East Meets West!" She’s appeared in numerous online news articles, several printed newspapers, international magazines including Cosmode, featured on two magazine covers, and live morning edition news at San Diego Comic-Con International. She has also been helping for years and we are excited to have her return to host again for our 15th Anniversary.
Only One Ronin
Only One Ronin is an artist based out of Oakland, CA. His content is mostly shaped by the anime, comics and pop culture he enjoys, but also based on deep thought and introspection from the his real life struggles and aspirations. As of recently, he has become a streamer on Twitch. He is also Co-creator of Skill Ckeck, a tabletop role-playing game based on freestyle rap, also Twitch. He has performed at every Kin-Yoobi Con and we are very happy to have him again this year. His twitch channel is Twitch.tv/OnlyOneRonin

Cosplay Wrestling Federation is a competitive, improv traveling panel/event bringing the biggest personalities on stage, in the spirit of pro wrestling and cosplay. Both CWF and us look forward to being a part of Kinyoobi Con for a second year! They will also be part of the pre-con special as well.
The Foundation for the Preservation of Gen 1 Pokemon
The Foundation for the Preservation of Gen 1 Pokemon (@FifthGenNotPkmn) is a group of convention panelists who have taken the art of trashposting to a whole new level. They have been a staple at conventions across northern California for the past few years, most recently giving multiple panels at Fanime 2021. Their panels cover such hot-button topics as the existence of 5th Generation Pokemon and the objective superiority of 90’s anime. They will also be part of the pre-con special and main days for Kin-Yoobi Con. We're happy and excited to have them return again for this year. We look forward to the content they put out.

He’s most known for the continuing series on worldbuilding, Way With Worlds. He also writes about creativity, careers, and fandom history. His second work of fiction, A School of Many Futures, is out the fall of 2021. Steven Savage has been doing panels at Kin-Yoobi Con for years and we are excited to have him return again for 2021.
Alari "Rembulan" Stark
Alari "Rembulan" Stark is newer to the Cos-Scene, having only cosplayed for 5 years....of course, not counting her school years of closet cosplays. Whem she's not cosplaying, (and even when she is!) yoi can see her spreading positivity and the importance of mental health; in and out of cosplay, and she even runs panels on the topic. Her bigger skill sets include corsetry, heavy wig styling, swimsuit making, and shoe making. She grows and learns more and more every day, sharing her knowledge on social medias and in panels so others can learn from her mistakes and triumphs!
Oliver “Kohalu” Holmes & Lilith “Liliphae” Holmes
Oliver “Kohalu” Holmes and Lilith “Liliphae” Holmes are a husband and wife cosplay duo with years of experience under their belts and a staple of the Northern California cosplay community. With their extreme costume builds and clean prop work, they find their biggest joys in teaching others the art of cosplay and the work it takes to make something you’re proud of. When not crafting costumes using traditional means, the duo has found great passion in 3D printing and currently own several machines. They found great success in their operation of a small business specializing in 3D-printed cosplay props and sets of 3D resin-printed dice. As of 2021, they are one of the best selling stores on Etsy and their homemade potion dice have become incredibly popular in the tabletop gaming scene. They will be presenting a panel on Resin 3D Printing.

Miss Marisa Cosplay
Miss Marisa Cosplay has been costuming since 2007. She draws her inspiration from her favorite games, comics, and books– like Pokémon, Batman, and League of Legends. Marisa focuses on fabrics, but finds fun in flexing deftness; her props incorporate woodworking, molding, foam, and LEDs.
